After all the hectic lead up to Christmas, I’d like to say Happy New Year and welcome to 2016.

Here are my top 8 wishes for you for the year ahead

  1. Live a life with no regrets. Don’t put off what you want to do – if it’s important to you, find a way to make it happen.
  2. It’s never too late to make a change (even if it’s a small one).  Regardless of the context – work, life, health, relationships – make the decision to do it differently and get started.
  3.  Do what you’re passionate about. If you don’t know what that is, find out.  May you also have tenacity, resilience and self belief to keep going, to do what you need to do, and to be clear about what that might look like, while its still emerging
  4. Notice and embrace opportunities – Know what you’re looking for. Take some time to look forward to what it is that you want to be achieving, embracing and living and then work back from there, to determine what steps you need to take between here and there.
  5. Laugh a lot and hang out with people with good energy. Surround yourself with those who will support you, nurture you and will give you the reality check you need, when it’s needed. Minimise contact with those who continue to drain your energy – Life really is too short for that kind of crap:)
  6.  Be real – be yourself- know yourself. Listen to your body and trust your intuition – know when you can push hard and know when you need to back off. Trust your instincts and listen to your heart – this will serve you in the best way – always.
  7. Be grateful for who and what you have and share what you can. Have and promote your ‘attitude of gratitude’ among work colleagues, friends and family – acknowledge and recognise the contribution of others and support those in need as you can.
  8. Show generosity of spirit. Be open to and generous when, connecting to self and others.  Forgive yourself and others when needed and move on. When we align purpose, values and intuition we are able to bring all of ourselves to our work and our lives and this is where we can be ‘in flow’.
